The weather is definitely changing. The seasons are transitioning from freezing to a light chill. The air is crisp and smells fresh. The evenings feel longer as it stays lighter. What I most enjoy about this time of year is the savings!
Winter in the middle of the US can be expensive. While it’s prudent to heat the home during winter, we do work hard at NDQ HQ to keep heating costs down and manage the expense. We eliminate drafts, bundle up on clothing and use household appliances to help warm the home. But this week, we’re opening the doors, letting in the air, cleaning windows and enjoying the quiet of not hearing the hum of the furnace.
Saving money is a constant hobby for NDQ, but for the next few weeks it may be easier than the rest of the year. Enjoy!
